Objective
This assignment has been designed to enable you:
To know about working of mouse in DOS
To know about working and manipulation of interrupts
To know about working of TSR
To write, assemble and debug Assembly Language program
Assignment
Write a TSR that enables mouse, display mouse cursor and also tracks mouse position (X, Y coordinates). You have to change example 9.7 (display tick count on the top right of screen) such that it displays cursors horizontal and vertical position on the top right corner of the screen. You have to write mouse routine instead of timer and change printnum routine in such a way that it takes 2 parameters from stack (First parameter is cursor coordinate to be displayed and second parameter is the screen position where it should be displayed). X, Y coordinates should be separated by comma.
What to Submit:
Submit Microsoft Word document containing the assembly language code for the above mentioned program.

HRM-501 Solution
HRM501 Assignment Solution:
The Internal Recruitment is the most favorite source of candidates in the stable and developed companies. The Internal Recruitment needs a strong support from other HR Processes, because the unmanaged internal recruitment process can lead to disappointed managers and employees in the organization. The Succession Planning and strong and consistent Performance Management are needed to ensure the success of the internal recruitment. The internal recruitment can offer the chance to change the job position to anyone in the organization, but the efficient internal recruitment process needs a strong help from other processes to provide managers with the additional information to work with. In case of the unknown additional information, the internal recruitment process can not offer much of the value added. The internal job candidate should be known to the organization and the HRM Function should provide the hiring manager with the information about the background information. The internal recruitment process has to be driven by strict and agreed HR Rules and HR Policies as the unclear rules for the process can bring a lot of tension inside the organization as the best employees can be easily stolen among different units and different managers. This issue looks pretty simple to solve, but the reality can bring difficult issues and conflicts among the management team and can affect the performance of the organization hardly.
Internal recruitment
Advantages
* Lower cost, because not paying external agency to recruit for you
* May improve morale of existing staff
* Recognition and reward of the good performance of internal staff* Reinforces & supports the company's succession planning strategies
* Internal staff are a 'known' quantity with existing information available about their skills
Rational recruitment satrategy.
• Define the situation/decision to be made
• Identify the important criteria for the process and the result
• Consider all possible solutions
• Calculate the consequences of these solutions versus the likelihood of satisfying the criteria
• Choose the best option
1. So first we define the mission as it is (recruitment).
2. Then we recognize the area importance and witch is the best process we can use for hiring the people.
3. then we allocate the alternative recording to the recruitment
4. Make a plan for performing step by step this process.
5. and the end of rational recruitment we must consider all possible solution

CS201: Introduction to Programming Assignment 5
Problem Statement:
Suppose we have a class named as Train it has two constructors, two methods, and a single attribute each of which described as follows:
• One attribute:
maxSpeed – an int value representing the maximum speed of the Train object.
Note: Train speed of modern Trains may be something like 250 km per hour, so a value you could use for testing purposes is 250.
• Two constructors:
A default constructor:
A constructor that initializes the attribute ms where ms is the maxSpeed.
An overloaded constructor:
A constructor that takes ms as an argument, where ms is the maxSpeed.
• Two methods:
getMaxSpeed() – return the maxSpeed value associated with the Train object.
setMaxSpeed(ms) – change the maxSpeed value associated with the Train object, where ms is the new value.
• Display the value through default constructor and overloaded constructor.
• Display setter value through main function.

Assignment No. 5
Cs 504 Software Engineering
Total Marks 30 Marks
Note:-
We have discussed different things regarding Software Coding in lectures from 28-35. Writing a maintainable code makes the product with High Quality. Here you are given a scenario where you have to write a maintainable code for the given problem.
Scenario:
Relax Solutions is an IT solution provider company. It has hired you as a Software Engineer. Your job is to write code, but at the same it should be of High Quality. Your Team Lead has asked you to write a code for daily sale of medical store. The code should be of High Quality.
You are required to
a. Write correct code for entering the daily sale of a medical store. Note that the whenever a medicine is sold, it is immediately entered in system. For each medicine following fields must be stored:
a. MedicineID
b. Medicine Name
c. Quantity sold
d. Total price (should automatically be calculated)
Note: you will initially have all medicines stored in database (MedicineID, Medicine Name and Unit Price) so that you may automatically calculate the cost. You can manually enter the master information (MedicineID, Medicine Name and Unit Price) about each medicine, no need to provide separate interface.
b. Display a report of daily sale. This report will show complete record of sales of a particular day (record of all medicine sold on that day) along with the total sale in Rupees.
c. Make use of Hungarian Notation for coding purpose
d. Make use of Comments in the Code where required necessary.
TIPS: you can use filling for storing the basic information
GOOD LUCK.

STA301 - Assignment Solution
Answer (a):
We know that:
E(X) = np = mean of a binomial distribution = 40
Var(X) = npq = variance of a binomial distribution =?
S.D(X) = √npq = standard deviation of a binomial distribution = 6
So,
Var(X) = [S.D(X)] 2
Var(X) = [√npq] 2
Var(X) = [6] 2
Var(X) = 36
Var(X) = npq
36 = (40)q
q = 36/40
q = 0.9
p = 1 – q
p = 1 – 0.9
p = 0.1
E(X) = np
40 = n(0.1)
n = 40/0.1
n = 400
OR
Var(X) = npq
36 = n(0.1)(0.9)
n(0.09) = 36
n = 36/0.09
n = 400
Answer (b):
We know that:
P(X=x) = (μx e-μ)/x! for x = 0, 1, 2, …, ∞
Here;
e = 2.71828
n = 500
p = 0.1% or 0.001
μ = np
μ = 500 * 0.001
μ = 0.5
Our Poisson formula becomes:
p(x; 0.5) = (0.5x e-0.5)/x!
i. No defective
p(x; 0.5) = (0.5x e-50)/x!
p(0; 0.5) = (0.50 (2.71828)-0.5)/0!
p(0; 0.5) = (1 * 0.606531)
p(0; 0.5) = 0.606531 or 60.65% chances that there will be no defective.
ii. At least two defective
P(X ≥ 2) = P(X=2) + P(X=3) + P(X=4) + ….
P(X ≥ 2) = 1 – P(X=1) – P(X=0)
So, first find P(X=1):
p(x; 0.5) = (0.5x e-0.5)/x!
p(1; 0.5) = (0.51 (2.71828)-0.5)/1!
p(1; 0.5) = (0.5 * 0.606531)/1
p(1; 0.5) = 0.303265 or 30.33% chances that there will be exactly one defective
P(X ≥ 2) = 1 – P(X=1) – P(X=0)
P(X ≥ 2) = 1 – 303265 – 606531
P(X ≥ 2) = 0.090204 or 9.02% chances that at least 2 will be defective.
We know that:
E(X) = np = mean of a binomial distribution = 40
Var(X) = npq = variance of a binomial distribution =?
S.D(X) = √npq = standard deviation of a binomial distribution = 6
So,
Var(X) = [S.D(X)] 2
Var(X) = [√npq] 2
Var(X) = [6] 2
Var(X) = 36

p = 1 – q
p = 1 – 0.9
